  • We are pleased to announce that Associate Austin K. F. Benner will be joining our construction litigation team.

Austin is a litigator specializing in large-scale construction disputes, with a particular focus on representing civil engineers in infrastructure megaproject litigation. His arrival strengthens our capacity to handle technically sophisticated, high stakes matters where the engineering and legal landscapes intersect.

Austin brings a unique perspective to his practice, drawing on his Economics Degree (Magna Cum Laude) and a background in international law and trade. This perspective allows him to evaluate for clients, ensuring that legal strategies are always aligned with broader goals and frameworks.

Clients will benefit from Austin’s substantial trial experience, which includes:
    •     Multiple jury trial victories.
    •     Successful summary judgment relief in complex litigation.
    •      A proven ability to distill complex engineering facts into compelling legal narratives.
    •      Expertise in navigating “unsettled” areas of law where the governing frameworks are still being defined.

Austin earned his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School, he is a published author with the American Bar Association on U.S.-imposed sanctions and is admitted to practice in California.

When he isn’t navigating the complexities of infrastructure litigation, Austin enjoys exploring the outdoors
