Professional Experience

Miguel is a corporate attorney with experience in both M&A and finance transactions. He drafts transactional documents and manage the due diligence process for various corporate deals. Miguel also counsel clients on ESG initiatives, gaining extensive experience in corporate governance matters. Previously, he worked in-house at Roofstock, where he collaborated directly with the General Counsel on corporate and regulatory matters.

Miguel has a background in government affairs serving in Congressman Mark Takano’s office, where he developed expertise in policy analysis and constituent relations. Additionally, Miguel provided political strategy consulting services, helping clients navigate the intersection of business and government. Miguel is passionate about political strategy, corporate formation and governance, and working collaboratively with clients to achieve their business objectives.

Miguel received his J.D. from the University of California, Irvine School of Law. While in law school, he was involved in the Latinx Law Students Association as the fundraising and pro bono chair. He also spent a year as a member of the Community and Economic Development Clinic.
