Professional Experience

Gabriela Aguilar is an associate in Gibbs Giden’s Westlake Office, where her practice focuses on real estate litigation and business and commercial law. She advises and represents clients in matters related to real property, title, escrow, landlord-tenant disputes, breach of contract, easements, and purchase and sale agreements. Gabriela has experience handling complex real estate and commercial disputes and provides strategic counsel to clients through all phases of litigation.

Gabriela earned her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of California, Riverside, and her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School – Los Angeles. At Loyola, Gabriela served as Co-President of the Latinx Law Student Association (2024-2025) and was a Senior Technical Editor for the flagship Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review. She also earned First Honors in multiple courses, including Legal Drafting, Civil Litigation Practice I and II, and Fashion Law.

Prior to law school, Gabriela participated in the UCDC program, where she gained valuable experience through internships at a private immigration law firm and a political non-profit organization. This early exposure to the intersection of law and policy continues to shape her thoughtful and comprehensive approach to legal practice.
